As a visual artist, my primary work is in pen and ink drawing and digital design. Growing up in Minnesota, I spent a lot of time playing in my family’s wild backyard. Many of my favorite memories come from its whimsical, hidden worlds. A patch of moss, a chickadee, or an iridescent bug would mesmerize me so much that time would seem to fall away. I seek that same feeling in my present work. Some of my favorite muses are fungi, aerial landscapes, clouds, and ice formations. In all of my art, I try to distill the abundance of nature into a single enchanting moment. (See the visuals on my Art page.)
